Jen and Chris’ wedding at the Deity was one of those special weddings that really moved me. It was a long time in the making. Jen and Chris meet at Hofstra University back in 2004 and since he met her, Chris knew they belonged together. They dated for over a decade until Chris proposed when they went on a Christmas trip to Jen’s favorite city – New Orleans.
I mean, I don’t plan to get emotional here – at this point I should be immune to emotions after I’ve done so many weddings – but come on! how many people can say ‘she is the one for you’ right after you meet someone? These guys were great during their bridal portraits in Brooklyn! they were patient, quick learners, they followed my direction, they engaged with each other, they were just perfect and what every wedding photographer loves from their couples! Jen looked amazing in her Justin Alexander wedding dress. I’m very happy with the really cool shots we got from their session. A beautiful couple, great architecture and a perfect day, what else can we ask for!
Jen and Chris’ Deity wedding could have not been successful without an incredible team of creatives: first of all Deity that inspired the entire look of this wedding. Deity it’s such a beautiful and unique venue and its decor really stands out on its own. As Jen said, “Deity has a romantic yet glamorous feel to it.” Buds of Brooklyn with its one-of-a-kind bouquet and succulents throughout the venue. Nine Cakes with an amazing and delicious cake and Michelle Elise Artistry for making Jen more beautiful than ever.
Jen and Chris had an amazing wedding day filled with love and surrounded family and their closest friends that danced the night away. I’m honored to have been part of your wedding day. Congratulations!
