Finally having the opportunity to share Julie and Jon's beautiful wedding at The Waterview in Connecticut a few weeks ago. I met Julie and Jon over a year ago when I did their Engagement Session in Central Park, NY and I'd been looking forward to their wedding since then! It was really great to see them again for their big day and remind myself that these guys are totally made for each other! Their wedding was the perfect way to showcase this, their love and the mix of cultural backgrounds. Julie has Cambodian background and Jon Latin American background and they did a great job highlighting and combining elements of both traditions during their ceremony and reception. Julie and Jon's wedding was fun! They danced the night away at the rhythm of latin beats, but I'm also happy that I got to work with an amazing creative team. The Waterview is a great venue inside and out - from its stunning lakefront views and gardens to the staff who was incredibly helpful and organized who streamlined my day with The Bride and Groom and made the whole day run smoothly. Christina from Wedding Hair & Makeup Design By Christina did an amazing job with Julie's hair & make up and retouched it throughout the day which was critical to get the fresh-makeup on the photos. Julie looked beautiful! Julie's dress was designed by Allure Bridals from Julie Allen Bridals was spectacular - elegant and perfectly tailored for her! The J.CREW outfits the bridesmaids chose were a perfect match for her dress.Congratulations to you guys again, your day was beautiful and I'm honored I got to document it from beginning to end.
